Currently we are not set up with pictures for each hosta. We hope to add that soon. By going to HostaLibrary.org you
can find pictures for nearly all of these. They often show both young and mature plants in various sunlight conditions.

indicates a variety being sold by my son Jason (tc) indicates a 1st year tissue culture plant, newly ordered this spring.
These will usually pot up in 3" or 4" pots.

(15"H x 15"W) Neo Plants 91 2001 HOSTA OF THE YEAR
This is the new gold centered form of 'Halcyon'. The leaves
are a rich, powdery gold, with a narrow blue edge. The color is best in fairly bright light, tending to yellow-green in deep
shade. Flowers are pale lavender. I really don't think I've seen any new introductions that I like better than this one.

(10"H x 15"W) AHS 77
Some people have had difficulties growing this one, probably because it needs more sun than
many hostas. On the other hand, too much sun will bleach the color from the leaf, but if you get it right, 'Kabitan' can be
spectacular, especially in mass. It tends to hug the ground, with long, narrow, wavy-edged leaves, bright yellow to yellow
green, with a narrow green edge. Flowers are purple striped. The plant spreads and does not form a tight mound. If you are
planting it as a small specimen rather than a ground cover, confine it with a one gallon nursery container (cut the bottom
out of the pot and bury it to the rim).
