(6"H x 12"W) Chastain 97
Forms a tiny clump of dark, bluish-green leaves. The leaves have a thin,
creamy-white edge, and are slightly rippled. It has clean colors and heavy substance
and makes a great rock garden or border hosta. Parentage is ‘L. Little
Gem’ x ‘L. seedling.’

A ventricosa hybrid from Mary Chastain, smaller and more compact than the species, with
very dark, almost black green, satiny leaves.

(Medium) Chastain 97
In terms of growth pattern, 'L. Dragonfly' resembles a giant tarantula. Its long, graceful leaves stretch from the
plants crown in the same way that a tarantula's legs extend from its body. THe intricately beautiful blue-green leaves have
a very wide white undulating border. Pale orchid flowers add to its color scheme. Fast-growing with a mound-like habit. The
leaves are lance-shaped with tapered bases. Parentage is unknown.

Ideal for any small nook or border in the garden. Leaves have clear, white centers and rich
green borders. Flower scapes of red and white are loaded with bright pruple flowers in the spring. Parentage in unknown. The
leaves and lance-shaped with rounded bases. It has a mound-like habit.

Heart-shaped leaves of blue-green with yellow margins. Good textures.

Rapidly grows to form a tuft of green and yellow. This small plant's lance-shaped leaves
have little or no petioles and tapered bases. It is a focal point when nestled amoung rocks, ferns, or small companion plants
int he shade garden. Orchid flowers on low-growing scapes. The parentage is L. seedings x L. seedling.

A sport of 'Summer Music.' It has white centered leaves with a dark green margin. Pale
lavender flowers. Very impressive when mature.

(Medium) Chastain 99
Got its name because it is a potential mom
of many. Since registration it has become obvious that it is also considered a nice Mother's Day gift. Offered for both its
beauty and quality as a pod plant, this streaked variety is a great addition to the gene pool. It sets seed readily,
offers a variety of colors, and has excellent substance. It has ovate leaves with a cordate base. The parentage
is "Lakeside seedling" x "Lakeside seedling."

This unique hosta makes a flat clump with long outstretched leaves. The
rippled, chartreuse-green leaves are surrounded by a border of white. Near-white flowers in early spring.

Broad, heart-shaped leaves are dark green with a yellow margin, turning creamy in summer.
